Part-Time Database Administrator


The Part-Time Database Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's database systems. This includes ensuring the security and integrity of the data, troubleshooting any technical issues, and optimizing database performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of database management systems, as well as experience with SQL and other programming languages. This is a part-time position in La-Condamine, with a salary of 1600$. Candidates with experience in biometric passport databases will be given preference. This is an urgent job opening, so we are looking for candidates who can join our team immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise with the database system
- Ensure the security and integrity of the data by implementing proper backup and recovery procedures
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement new database features or enhancements
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Provide technical support to end-users on database-related issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
- Experience with SQL programming language
- Knowledge of data security principles and best practices
- Familiarity with biometric passport databases is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
