Part-Time Plasterboard Worker

We are a construction company seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in La-Condamine on a part-time basis. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard walls and ceilings in various construction projects. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard onto walls and ceilings using appropriate tools and techniques
- Ensure all edges and joints are properly sealed and sanded for a smooth finish
- Apply coats of compound and sand surfaces until they are smooth and even
- Repair any damaged or uneven areas of existing plasterboard
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain a clean work area at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of different types of plasterboard, adhesives, compounds, and other materials used in the trade
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Strong mathematical skills for measuring, cutting, and estimating materials needed
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail with high-quality standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $900 per week.

This role is located in La-Condamine. Please only apply if you are able to commute or reside within the area.
