Plasterboard Worker

As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing plasterboard to create smooth and even surfaces on walls and ceilings. You will use a variety of tools and techniques to cut, measure, and secure plasterboard in residential or commercial buildings. This is a part-time position that pays $1100 per month and includes accommodation in La-Condamine.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a plasterboard worker
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Experience with hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to specifications using hand or power tools
- Install plasterboard panels on walls or ceilings using appropriate fasteners
- Fill joints between panels with joint compound and smooth out surface using trowels or other tools
- Repair damaged or uneven surfaces by removing old plasterboard and installing new panels
- Sand down rough areas to create smooth finish before painting or wallpapering
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on job sites
- Communicate with supervisor or team members regarding progress of work
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- May be required to train or supervise less experienced workers
