We are in need of a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Your duties will include conducting research, developing preservation plans, preparing technical drawings, and overseeing construction projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong knowledge of historical preservation principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site assessments of historic buildings to determine their condition and identify potential issues
- Research the history and significance of the building to inform preservation plans
- Develop detailed preservation plans that adhere to local building codes and regulations
- Create technical drawings for restoration projects, including floor plans, elevations, and construction details
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals during the construction phase to ensure accuracy and quality of work
- Monitor project progress and budget to ensure timely completion within allocated resources
