Contract Librarian in La-Condamine

We are in need of a skilled and passionate Librarian to join our team in La-Condamine on a contract basis. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference needs, and organizing events and activities to promote literacy and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage library resources including books, periodicals, multimedia materials, and electronic databases.
- Assist patrons with finding and accessing information for their research needs.
- Develop and implement programming to engage the community and promote literacy.
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, circulation, and patron interactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote library services and resources.
- Stay updated on current trends in library science and incorporate new technologies into library operations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Librarian or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using library management systems and online databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This is a contract position with the possibility of extension. Along with the salary of $1000 per month, we also provide accommodation for the duration of the contract.
