Warehouse Operations Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit Warehouse Operations Assistant to join our team in La-Condamine. As a Warehouse Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the warehouse operations by assisting in various tasks such as receiving, storing, and distributing goods. This is a contract job without accommodation, so candidates must have their own visa and be able to work legally in La-Condamine.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
- Label and store goods in designated locations
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move goods within the warehouse
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications
- Prepare shipping documents and ensure accuracy of orders
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages to supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills in English (fluency in French is a plus)
- Must have own valid visa for working in La-Condamine
