Live-In Caregiver

Our elderly care facility in La-Condamine is seeking a compassionate and experienced Live-In Caregiver to join our team. This is a full-time position, with a salary of $1300 per month. The ideal candidate will have a biometric passport and be comfortable living in the facility with our residents.

As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personalized care for our elderly residents. This includes assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as administering medication and monitoring their health. You will also be responsible for light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.

We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and has excellent communication skills. Previous experience in caregiving or working with the elderly is preferred. A strong understanding of personal care techniques and knowledge of common health conditions among the elderly is also necessary.

In addition to providing physical care, our Live-In Caregivers are expected to provide emotional support to our residents. This may involve engaging in conversations, listening attentively, and participating in leisure activities with them. We believe that building strong relationships with our residents is crucial for their overall well-being.

This position requires someone who is able to work independently and make quick decisions when needed. You must also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle any emergencies that may arise. A positive attitude and a passion for helping others are essential qualities we look for in our caregivers.

As this is a live-in position, you will be provided with a private room within the facility. Meals will also be provided during your shifts. However, please note that accommodation is not provided outside of working hours.
