Computer Support Specialist

A computer support specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers and clients who are experiencing issues with their computer hardware, software, or other technology products. They diagnose and troubleshoot problems, install and configure software and hardware, and provide guidance on how to use technology effectively. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers over the phone, via email, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues.
- Install and configure new hardware and software.
- Train customers on how to use technology products effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and solutions provided.
- Collaborate with other team members to find solutions to complex technical problems.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in technology products.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a computer support specialist or similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues remotely or in person.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Computer Science or relevant field is preferred.
