Junior Information Security Analyst


As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's sensitive information and data from potential cyber threats. Your main duties will include monitoring network activity, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures to prevent unauthorized access. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that all systems and software are up-to-date and secure. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or someone with limited experience in the field of information security to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing company.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop plans to mitigate them
- Implement security controls and procedures to protect data and systems
- Conduct regular tests and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure all software and systems are up-to-date with necessary security patches
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans in case of any cyber attacks or breaches
- Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, etc.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS
- Knowledge of common web application vulnerabilities (i.e. SQL injection, cross-site scripting)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Location:
This position is based in Fonvieille but remote work options may be available for exceptional candidates.

Salary:
Starting salary of $1300 per month with opportunities for growth based on performance.
