Job Title: Moderation Specialist
As a Moderation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all user-generated content on our platform is in compliance with our community guidelines and policies. You will work closely with our content moderators and customer support team to maintain a safe and positive environment for our users.
Responsibilities:
- Review user-generated content, including text, images, and videos, for compliance with community guidelines
- Take appropriate action on content that violates policies, such as removing or flagging for further review
- Monitor user reports and respond to customer inquiries related to moderation decisions
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in online community moderation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve moderation processes and policies
- Assist in training new moderators on platform policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in online community moderation or content moderation
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and online communities
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to make quick decisions based on established policies and guidelines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with tools such as Zendesk or Jira is a plus
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1500 per month.
