Fitter - Contract Position in Fonvieille (Visa Sponsorship Available)



We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fitter to join our team in Fonvieille for a contract position. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various mechanical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, fit, and assemble metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and instructions to determine the layout of mechanical systems
- Install pipes, valves, pumps, motors, and other mechanical components
- Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure efficient operation
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise with mechanical equipment
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while working on job sites

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or apprenticeship in a related field is preferred
- Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role is an asset but not required
- Strong knowledge of hand and power tools commonly used in fitting work
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces if necessary
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Valid visa for working in Fonvieille is preferred
- Available for urgent jobs if needed

We offer competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this contract position. Visa sponsorship is also available for non-Fonvieillians who meet the job requirements.
