Temporary Executive Chef
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team on a temporary basis in Fonvieille. As the Temporary Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring high-quality, delicious meals are prepared and served to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that meet seasonal, dietary, and budget requirements
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment, making orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving efficiency and reducing costs
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain customer satisfaction
- Manage food waste and control portion sizes to minimize expenses
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to create menus that cater to different dietary needs/preferences
- Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and cost control
- Strong communication skills
- Creativity and passion for creating delicious dishes
Salary:
This is a temporary position with a salary of 1600$ per month.
Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the temporary contract.
Location:
This position is based in Fonvieille.
