Part-Time Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Metal Worker to join our team in Fonvieille. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures, equipment, and products according to specifications. This position offers a competitive salary of 1100$, as well as accommodation and is open to candidates of any gender.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, templates, or drafting instruments
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using hand tools or machines
- Join metal pieces through welding, bolting, riveting or other methods
- Repair damaged metal structures or equipment by cutting out damaged sections and replacing with new pieces
- Operate machinery such as shears, presses, grinders, and drills to cut, bend, punch or drill metal into specified shapes
- Inspect completed products for quality control purposes
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Metal Worker
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in using various hand tools (e.g. saws, hammers) and machinery (e.g. welding equipment)
- Ability to accurately measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Good physical strength and stamina for standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Biometric passport preferred but not required
