Excavator Operator


We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Fonvieille. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, specifically excavators. You will be expected to follow safety protocols and operate the equipment efficiently to complete projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain excavators according to safety regulations
- Safely load, unload, and move materials using the excavator
- Monitor and maintain fuel levels and perform routine maintenance on the equipment
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operation on job sites
- Identify potential hazards or risks and report them immediately
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including hours worked, materials used, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators in a construction or similar environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read project plans and follow instructions accurately
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols for heavy equipment operation
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail

Preferred:
- Certification or training in heavy equipment operation
- Experience operating other types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers or loaders

Salary: $1400 per month with potential for overtime pay. This is a contract position with accommodation provided.
