Architectural Technologist - Part Time (Atlanta, USA)



Our architectural firm is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our team in Atlanta. This is a part-time position, perfect for individuals looking for flexible hours or those with other commitments. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting our architects with the technical aspects of the design process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects to create detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements to ensure accuracy in drawings
- Create 3D models and renderings to help visualize designs
- Research building codes and regulations to ensure compliance in designs
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates on project progress
- Assist in preparing project proposals, budgets, and timelines

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an architectural firm
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as SketchUp or Rhino
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles
