We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. Your main duties will include maintaining and optimizing database systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data backups and disaster recovery plans are in place. To be successful in this role, you must have strong knowledge of database management systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. This is an excellent opportunity for a Canadian looking for an English-speaking job with visa sponsorship. Salary starts at 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the performance, integrity, and security of company databases
- Monitor database systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Develop data models and maintain data dictionaries
- Create backup and recovery plans to ensure data is safe in the event of a disaster
- Optimize database systems for maximum efficiency
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures for new applications
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Provide technical support to users when needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with database design and development
- Familiarity with data backup and recovery methods
- Knowledge of SQL query language
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
