Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Kaunas. Your main duties will include conducting site surveys, developing preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects. You will also work closely with government agencies and historical societies to ensure that projects comply with preservation regulations.
To excel in this role, you should have a degree in architecture or a related field, as well as at least 3 years of experience working on historic preservation projects. You must possess strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and preservation methods. Excellent communication skills are also essential for collaborating with various stakeholders and presenting project proposals.
As our ideal candidate, you are passionate about preserving cultural heritage and have a keen eye for detail. You are able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict timelines. Fluency in Lithuanian is required for this role as most of our clients are based in Kaunas.
