Long Haul Truck Driver

Our trucking company is seeking a reliable and experienced long haul truck driver to join our team in Eldoret. As a long haul truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate should have a valid commercial driver's license, a clean driving record, and at least 2 years of experience in long haul trucking.

Responsibilities:
- Transport goods from one location to another across long distances
- Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip
- Report any mechanical issues or delays to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in long haul trucking
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of safety regulations for operating large vehicles
- Ability to communicate effectively in English

Salary: $1700/month with potential for bonuses based on performance.
