Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Worker to join our team in Svalbard. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for shaping, cutting, and welding metal pieces according to specifications. You will work with various materials such as steel, aluminum, and copper to create structures for construction projects or products for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Operate hand and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
- Measure and mark metal pieces for cutting and shaping
- Use various techniques such as soldering, brazing, and riveting to join metal pieces together
- Ensure proper safety precautions are followed at all times
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members on projects as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in metalworking or similar field
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills
- Biometric passport (preferred)

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
