Plasterboard Technician

As a Plasterboard Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard in residential and commercial buildings. You will work closely with contractors and other skilled tradespeople to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard using screws, adhesive, or nails
- Repair damaged plasterboard by patching or replacing sections
- Apply joint compound and tape to seams and corners for a seamless finish
- Sand down surfaces for a smooth texture
- Inspect work for accuracy and quality control
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Plasterboard Worker or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Familiarity with construction tools such as saws, drills, etc.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity for lifting heavy materials and working in various positions
- Attention to detail and precision in completing tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
