Barista - Svalbard



We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in Svalbard. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating and serving delicious coffee and other beverages to our customers. Your passion for coffee, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills will make you the perfect fit for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages
- Take customer orders and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Educate customers about our products and make recommendations based on their preferences
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Follow health and safety guidelines in food handling and preparation

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different brewing methods, latte art, and coffee beans
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Must have good physical stamina as this role requires standing for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Svalbard. While we do not provide accommodation, we can assist with finding suitable housing options.
