Interpreter - Russian/English


We are hiring a skilled Interpreter to join our team in Alta, Norway. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Russian and English and have experience in interpretation. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely interpretation services for clients in various settings such as business meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings.

Responsibilities:
- Translate spoken words from Russian to English and vice versa
- Interpret accurately and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality
- Provide cultural context and explanations when necessary
- Manage paperwork and documentation related to interpretation assignments
- Collaborate with other interpreters and team members to ensure smooth communication

Requirements:
- Native or near-native fluency in both Russian and English
- Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in a professional setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month. We offer visa sponsorship for non-Norwegian candidates. Accommodation is not provided, so preference will be given to candidates already living in Alta or willing to relocate at their own expense.
