Surveying Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveying Assistant to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Surveying Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced surveyors to assist in the collection and analysis of data related to land surveys, construction projects, and other mapping services. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$. While previous experience is preferred, we are open to considering candidates without experience who are eager to learn and have a strong work ethic. This position is open to candidates with their own visa.

Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors in conducting field surveys using GPS equipment and traditional surveying methods
- Collect and record accurate data related to land boundaries, elevations, and other topographic features
- Help create maps, charts, and reports based on collected data
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Proficiency in using GPS equipment and other surveying tools (preferred)
- Good communication skills in English (Norwegian language skills are also preferred)
