Instrument Technician
We are currently seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Mombasa. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various instruments used in industrial and manufacturing processes. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and expertise, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on all instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Diagnose and repair any malfunctions or issues with instruments
- Install new instruments and calibrate them to ensure accuracy
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot complex issues
- Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in the field
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Salary: $1800 per month
Location: Mombasa, Kenya (Canadian citizens preferred)
