Concrete Worker

We are in need of a skilled and hardworking Concrete Worker to join our team in Alta, Norway on a contract basis. This is an urgent job opportunity and we are open to candidates without prior experience in the field. As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to concrete work, such as pouring, smoothing, and finishing surfaces. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment, including power saws, trowels, and levels. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Experience working with concrete or in construction is preferred but not required. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time. Training will be provided for candidates without prior experience. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare worksite by setting up necessary tools and equipment
- Measure and mark designated areas for concrete work
- Mix concrete according to specific ratios
- Pour concrete into designated areas using appropriate techniques
- Use power tools such as saws and drills to shape or cut concrete
- Smooth surfaces using trowels or other hand tools
- Finish surfaces with brooms or brushes
- Apply sealants or other protective coatings as needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Clean up worksite after completing tasks

Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of using power tools is preferred but not required
- Previous experience working with concrete or in construction is preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
