Job Title: Formworker for Construction Project in Akron, Canada

We are in need of skilled and experienced Formworkers to join our construction project in Akron, Canada. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for building and setting up forms for concrete structures according to construction plans and specifications. This is a contract job with a competitive salary of 1700$.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret construction plans and blueprints to determine form specifications
- Measure and cut materials to required lengths
- Assemble and secure formwork using hand tools, nails, screws or bolts
- Align forms according to grade stakes and layout lines
- Place reinforcing steel bars into forms as per design requirements
- Pour concrete into forms and smooth the surface using trowels or screeds
- Remove forms after concrete has dried and cure the surface with appropriate tools
- Repair or replace damaged forms as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker in the construction industry
- Knowledge of formwork materials, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills
- Valid work permit for Canada
