Office Assistant - Mombasa, Kenya
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our office. This is a part-time position with a salary of $900 per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments
- Keep the office area clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Perform data entry tasks as needed
- Assist with preparing documents, reports, and presentations
- Handle any other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an office assistant or administrative role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Are Canadian residents or citizens
- Have a biometric passport
- Have previous experience working in Kenya
