Turner (Machinist)
A reputable manufacturing company in Zagreb is seeking a skilled Turner (Machinist) to join our team. This position will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, such as lathes and drills, to create precision metal parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining and be able to read technical drawings. The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
As a Turner (Machinist), your duties will include setting up and adjusting machines, selecting appropriate tools and materials, monitoring the production process, and inspecting finished products for quality assurance. You should also be knowledgeable in using hand tools, measuring instruments, and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
To excel in this role, you must have a strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills are also essential for meeting production deadlines. Additionally, you should possess physical dexterity and stamina as this job requires standing for long periods of time.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in machining
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and repair
- Familiarity with CAD software
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Physical dexterity and stamina
