Nurse for Indian Community in Bungoma, Kenya


We are in need of a qualified and experienced Nurse to provide healthcare services to the local Indian community in Bungoma, Kenya. As a nurse for our Indian community, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will also be expected to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and document any changes in their condition
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on disease prevention and management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and communicate effectively with other team members
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Valid nursing license in the country of Bungoma, Kenya
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a nurse
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Hindi or Gujarati is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients from diverse backgrounds
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends if needed
