Executive Chef for Malayalees in Ashdod, Israel
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in the city of Ashdod. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes, as well as strong leadership skills to manage and motivate our kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation and cooking
- Create new menus and dishes that reflect our restaurant's vision and style
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of ingredients
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing revenue and reducing costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Ability to create unique menus that showcase local ingredients and flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate with kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Malayalam is a plus)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
