Experienced Formworker in Los Angeles


We are a reputable construction company in Los Angeles seeking an experienced Formworker to join our team. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for creating and setting up concrete forms for various construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and precision.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
- Study blueprints, sketches or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard.
- Follow safety procedures when handling materials and operating equipment.
- Build wooden molds to hold freshly poured concrete in place until it sets.
- Align forms for sidewalks, curbs or gutters; patch voids; use saws to cut expansion joints.
- Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete or pattern or stamp the surface to provide a decorative finish.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Formworker in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans.
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools and equipment.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work with precision.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month along with benefits package including health insurance, paid time off and opportunities for career growth.

Location:
This position is located in Los Angeles. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently residing in the city.
