Cashier - Malindi, Kenya

We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Cashier to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Accept payments in various forms (cash, credit card, mobile payment)
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and count cash at the end of each shift
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service

Requirements:
-Friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be detail-oriented and able to handle cash accurately
- Basic math skills for calculating change and totals
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1100$ for this full-time position.
