Baker/ Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled Baker/Pastry Chef to join our team at our bakery in Atlanta. As a Baker/Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts. This is a full-time position with a salary of $900 per week.
As a Baker/Pastry Chef, you will be expected to have experience in baking and pastry-making techniques, as well as knowledge of various ingredients and their measurements. You must also have excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts
- Follow recipes accurately while also being able to make adjustments as needed
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all products
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies when necessary
- Work efficiently to meet production demands and deadlines
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary school diploma or degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a baker or pastry chef in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, measurements, and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
