We are hiring a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our authentic Indian restaurant in Ufa, Russia. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring that our dishes maintain their traditional flavors while also appealing to modern palates. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Create innovative and delicious Indian dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Develop and update menus based on seasonality and availability of ingredients
- Train and mentor junior chefs on cooking techniques, menu execution, and food safety
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new concepts or events
- Monitor food costs to maintain profitability without compromising quality
- Oversee kitchen budget and schedule labor efficiently

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume Indian restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations, spices, and cooking techniques
- Ability to manage a team effectively, delegate tasks, and provide constructive feedback
- Excellent communication skills in English (Russian language skills preferred)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to implement them effectively
- High level of creativity with a passion for creating unique dishes
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Ufa, Russia (accommodation not provided)
