Entry Level Painter

As an Entry Level Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces according to instructions and specifications. You will assist in preparing surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. You may also be required to mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and textures.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes or cracks, and sanding surfaces
- Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and textures
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers or spray guns
- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection from spills or overspray
- Clean tools and equipment after each use
- Follow instructions and specifications from supervisors or clients regarding the type of paint, finish, or technique required for a project

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in painting is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of color mixing and matching techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have your own transportation

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
