Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. Your main duties will include operating and maintaining the excavator, following safety protocols and procedures, and communicating with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks as per project plans
- Load and unload materials using the excavator
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to supervisor
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project deadlines are met
- Maintain a clean worksite by removing debris and properly disposing of materials
- Adhere to local laws, regulations, and permits related to excavation work

Requirements:
- Experience operating an excavator is preferred but not required; training can be provided for candidates with no previous experience
- Valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus
- Ability to read project plans, blueprints, and maps
- Physically fit; able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Good communication skills; able to follow instructions and work well in a team setting
- Basic understanding of excavation techniques and safety protocols

Working Conditions:
You will primarily work outdoors in various weather conditions. This position may require occasional weekend or evening work depending on project deadlines. Overtime may also be required during busy periods. The job site may vary depending on project location within Dubai.

Compensation:
Starting salary for this position is $1,500 per month. Benefits such as health insurance may be offered after a probationary period.
