Barista - Coffee Shop (Contract with Accommodation) in Alta, Norway


We are searching for a skilled Barista with a passion for coffee and customer service to join our team at a coffee shop in Alta, Norway. As a Contract Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages following company recipes and standards
- Ensure quality control by properly measuring ingredients, monitoring brewing processes, and maintaining equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering any questions or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace including restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and wiping down counters
- Handle cash transactions accurately while following company policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during busy periods
- Stay updated on new products, promotions, and company policies

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry
- Knowledge of different brewing methods and latte art is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
- Biometric passport for international travel is preferred but not required
