Accountant for a Growing Company in Sharjah


We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our growing team in Sharjah. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank reconciliations and tax compliance. You will also be responsible for analyzing financial data and preparing reports to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and tax compliance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for cost reduction or revenue growth
- Ensure accurate record keeping of all financial transactions
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
- Conduct monthly budget reviews with department heads to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with senior management
- Assist with the preparation of year-end audits and tax returns
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and government agencies as needed
- Keep up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP or QuickBooks preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Fluent English communication skills

Salary: AED 4,400 per month (inclusive of housing allowance)
