Instrument Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Triesen. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of various instruments and equipment used in production processes. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all instruments are functioning properly and meet safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain various instruments used in production processes
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure instruments are functioning properly
- Identify and repair any faults or malfunctions in instruments
- Keep accurate records of instrument maintenance activities
- Collaborate with engineers to develop maintenance schedules for instruments
- Train other technicians on proper use and maintenance of instruments
- Comply with all safety procedures and regulations while working with instruments
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in instrumentation is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an Instrument Technician
- Strong knowledge of various types of instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analytical measurement devices
- Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring diagrams, PLCs, and control systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
