Filipino Chef in Bungoma, Kenya


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Filipino Chef to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. You must have a passion for cooking and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Filipino dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain proper food storage, handling, and sanitation procedures at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety measures, and cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items or specials
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably with experience cooking Filipino cuisine
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Certification from a culinary school is preferred but not required

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Bungoma, Kenya.

Note: This job is open to Filipinos only who are currently residing or willing to relocate to Bungoma. English proficiency is not required but would be considered an asset.
