Blast Furnace Operator


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Bungoma. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces in our steel manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blast furnaces to ensure they are running efficiently and safely
- Monitor temperature, gas levels, and other furnace conditions to ensure proper functioning
- Adjust furnace controls as needed to achieve desired results
- Inspect equipment for malfunctions or defects and report any issues to management
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a blast furnace environment
- Familiarity with operating various types of machinery and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in extreme temperatures

Preference will be given to candidates with Indian nationality who have English speaking skills. Part-time opportunities may also be available for candidates with relevant experience. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
