Industrial alpinism vacancy in Funchal Portugal

Industrial Alpinist

Our company is seeking an experienced and skilled Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Funchal. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at heights, often in challenging and remote locations. This is a contract job without accommodation, so the ideal candidate should have the flexibility to work on various projects and travel as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct industrial rope access work using specialized equipment and techniques
- Perform inspections and maintenance on structures, equipment, or facilities at heights
- Install or remove equipment, materials, or components using rope access methods
- Rigging and hauling of heavy loads using appropriate techniques
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Alpinist in various industries such as construction, oil & gas, or telecommunications
- Valid biometric passport for international travel (if not a Portuguese citizen)
- Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions
- Knowledge of industrial rope access techniques and equipment
- Physically fit with excellent balance, coordination, and strength
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.
