Industrial Alpinist

As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at height, such as maintenance, construction, and repair work on structures such as buildings, bridges, and wind turbines. You will use specialized equipment and techniques to access and work in hard-to-reach areas, often in challenging environments. This position requires physical strength, stamina, and a good head for heights.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and assessments of structures at height
- Perform maintenance and repair work on structures using appropriate tools and techniques
- Install safety systems and equipment to ensure safe working conditions
- Work in accordance with established safety protocols and regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically fit with good balance and coordination
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols closely
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Prior experience in industrial alpinism or related fields is preferred but not required

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Funchal (accommodation provided)
