Junior Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a motivated Junior Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Oslo. As a Junior Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our company's network and systems infrastructure. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates without prior experience in the field. We offer a salary of 1600$, accommodation, and a free visa and ticket for non-Norwegian applicants. Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
- Perform regular backups of critical systems data
- Ensure security protocols are in place to protect against cyber threats
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network/systems related issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a network/systems administration role
- Industry certifications such as CCNA or MCSA
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash)
