Office Assistant
Location: Sheduva, Kenya
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Sheduva, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, as well as prepare outgoing mail
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Keep track of company expenses and prepare expense reports
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and data entry
- Handle basic administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members when necessary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in an office setting or administrative role is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles is a plus
