Carpenter for Construction Company in Dubai



A reputable construction company in Dubai is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join their team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will work closely with other tradespeople and follow blueprints and building plans to ensure accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, and hardware
- Cut or shape materials to specified measurements using hand tools or power equipment

- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Follow building codes and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain a clean work area and properly store tools at the end of each shift
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately
- Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople

Preferred Requirements:
-Filipino nationals preferred due to visa sponsorship availability
-Knowledge of Filipino carpentry techniques
-Familiarity with local building codes in Dubai
-Able to communicate in basic English
-Willingness to work overtime when necessary

Salary: 1800$ monthly salary with accommodation provided.
