Merchandising Coordinator

We are a leading retail company in Remish seeking an experienced Merchandising Coordinator to join our team. As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with buyers to develop merchandising plans for products
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Create visual displays and product presentations that are visually appealing and drive sales
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling
- Analyze sales data to make pricing adjustments and track product performance
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences
- Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and product quality
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Manage the execution of promotions, events, and special displays

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in merchandising or retail buying
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of visual merchandising principles is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
