Android Developer

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You should have a strong understanding of the Android platform and be able to work with various programming languages such as Java and Kotlin. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into functional code. You will collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently and is willing to learn new technologies. This is a remote position open to Egyptian nationals with a biometric passport. No prior experience is required but preference will be given to candidates with relevant coursework or certifications in Android development.

City: Beer-Sheva, Israel
Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and fix bugs in existing codebase
- Find ways to improve performance, usability, and reliability of our mobile applications
- Stay updated on emerging trends in mobile development and incorporate them into your work
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows industry best practices
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages
- Strong understanding of the Android SDK and mobile app development lifecycle
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries integration
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning new technologies

Preferred qualifications:
- Relevant coursework or certifications in Android development
- Prior experience building and publishing apps on the Google Play Store
- Experience with Git version control system
- Familiarity with Firebase or other cloud-based technologies
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for mobile applications
