Live-in Caregiver


We are in need of a compassionate and experienced Live-in Caregiver to join our team in Alta, Norway. Our facility provides care for elderly and disabled individuals who require assistance with daily tasks. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to our residents in their home-like environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by the resident's physician
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Monitor and report any changes in the resident's health or behavior to the supervisor
- Help with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up resident's living space
- Accompany residents to appointments and outings as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a caregiver for elderly or disabled individuals
- Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Physically able to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting residents
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time live-in position with accommodation provided. You will have your own private room within the facility. The work schedule will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation:
Salary for this position is $1000 per month.
