Pastry Chef
A 5-star hotel in Salalah is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and producing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods that meet the standards of our guests. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of ingredients and techniques to develop new and innovative menu items. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, a passion for pastry making, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1100 per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Develop new and innovative menu items using different ingredients and techniques
- Ensure all products are prepared according to food safety standards
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise other pastry team members
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Certification in pastry making or culinary arts preferred
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Team player with strong communication skills
